Au pays des éléphants...

Le Sri Lanka est un des rares pays d'Asie, avec l'Inde et la Thaïlande où des éléphants cohabitent avec les populations des campagnes.
On estime à 3 000 le nombre de pachydermes sauvages sur l'île.
Un orphelinat a même été créé pour ceux qui auraient été blessés ou abandonnés par leur clan.
Grâce à ces quelques photos nous vous faisons partager ce moment magique que nous avons eu la chance de vivre avec le plus gros des mammifères terrestres.




In the land of elephants ...

Sri Lanka is one of the few countries in Asia, with India and Thailand where elephants live with people in rural areas. An estimated 3 000 the number of wild elephants on the island. An orphanage has been created for those who were injured or abandoned by their clan. With these few photos we'll share this magical moment that we had the chance to live with the largest land mammal.
