Une journée en catamaran.

Catamaran est un des rares mot Sri-Lankai qui est utilisé dans le monde entier, il signifie "bois liés".

Nous voila pêcheurs d'un jour.
Au petit matin, nous partons donc avec trois pêcheurs et embarquons sur leur Bateau traditionnel fait de bois, de bambou et d'une grande voile de coton. Nous les accompagnerons donc toute une journée et les aidons dans leurs taches soit à la barre soit à la manipulation du filet en forme d'entonnoir.

Pour le déjeuner, nous ferons une escale au "lagon" là ou se jette une rivière dans l'océan.

Après cette journée en mer nous avons été invité à boire un thé chez notre capitaine où nous avons rencontré toute sa famille. Nous avons également eu le privilège de choisir quelques pierres précieuses qui composent un petit trésor amassé au fil des années par notre pêcheur mineur...

C' est une des plus belles journées que nous ayons passé pendant ce séjour.





A day on a catamaran.

Catamaran is one of the few Sri Lankan word that is used throughout the world, it means "wood related. We are fishing for a day.
